I’m a freelance broadcast and print journalist, producer and videographer, working across Denmark and the U.K. I’m currently based in Sheffield after three and a half years in Copenhagen.
For over seven years I worked for BBC News where I won awards such as the RTS Yorkshire Most Promising Newcomer and was listed as one of the top 50 talents in the north by the Institute for Public Policy Research. I worked as a video journalist and reporter for BBC Look North, a field producer for the BBC northern bureau and a producer on BBC Sport and BBC Breakfast TV, a programme watched by 7 million viewers across a morning.
In Denmark I produced films for corporate companies and worked as a freelance journalist, which included translating Danish to English after I completed Prøve i Dansk 3, a nationally recognised qualification in the Danish language.
Now back in England, I continue to work as a freelance journalist specialising about Denmark, translating Danish news into English and providing commentary about the country.
Below are some examples of my broadcast work from Denmark. Examples of my published written work are at the bottom of this page.
